THE FRUIT TRUCK STATEMENT ON COVID-19

We understand that there are concerns due to the COVID-19 situation, but we want to assure you that The Fruit Truck will continue to deliver fresh strawberries to communities across the region. Here's why:

  1. There are produce shortages in some grocery stores and we want to continue to make fresh fruit available to you.

  2. Our food is safe. The Fruit Truck strawberries are literally handled by one person - the farmer who picked them. They are picked and put directly in your box in the field. From the field, strawberries are put onto a refrigerated truck and brought directly to you. All of our truckers and delivery personnel are food-safe certified.

  3. Our delivery stops are outdoors in large, open-air spaces. This is safer than a store environment, allowing you to distance yourself from others.

At The Fruit Truck, the health and safety of our customers and team members is a top priority. That is why we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following WHO and CDC public health recommendations. At this time, it is our intention to continue to serve our customers by delivering fresh strawberries to communities across the Midwest.

Over the next few weeks we have deliveries planned for South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin. At this time there are no changes to our delivery schedule, however, due to the current situation and its potential impact on the availability of strawberries, adjustments to our schedule may be necessary. Any schedule changes will be published on our website, www.MyFruitTruck.com
